For the past 37 years Repertory Company Theatre has been dedicated to engaging, educating and entertaining the community, one story at a time. From a full season of Broadway musicals to community outreach and strategic partnerships (Texas Muslin Women’s Foundation, Milaana Dancers, Dallas Chinese Community Center, Network of Community Ministries, Senior Follies, University of Texas at Dallas, Courtyard Theater-Plano) and year round theater arts education through workshops and classes for youth, RCT utilizes our full season to engage, educate and build bridges to the community.

Mission
Over our 37 year history, Repertory Company Theatre has been dedicated to engaging, educating and entertaining the community we serve through local, quality theater arts programming. Each season RCT presents Broadway musicals, classic plays and special presentations performed by our acclaimed REP Company actors (74 talented performers). RCT School of Musical Theater provides year round theater arts education through workshops and classes for ages 7-18 (450 students). Programs are held in our 165 seat Promenade Theatre, 770 N Coit, Richardson and The Historic Courtyard Theater-Plano (285 seats). Our outreach programming includes partnerships with Dallas Chinese Community Center, Texas Muslim Women’s Foundation, Friends of the Library, Dover Elementary-Title 1 School). RCT's webcast, RCT360, provided communication and artistic resources throughout the recent pandemic.
Needs
Contributions from individuals and organizations support Repertory Company Theatre’s mission to engage, educate and entertain the community we serve through quality, local theatre arts programming. Founded in 1986 with a strong commitment to theatre arts education, Repertory Company Theatre has grown to include a full season of main stage shows, a 74-member Rep Company of actors, multiple outreach programs and year round educational programming for ages 8-18.
Because program revenue covers approximately half of our costs, Repertory Company Theatre relies on your contributions to produce each season. The main stage season and year-round arts education programs exist only through the support of generous individuals, businesses and foundations.
YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS PROVIDE FUNDING FOR THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS...
MAIN STAGE SHOWS: This season RCT will present 9 Main Stages shows including audience favorites (White Christmas, It’s A Wonderful Life, Guys & Dolls), shows straight from Broadway (Sweeney Todd, Bonnie & Clyde) and an Agatha Christie Series (And Then There Were None, The Spider’s Web). RCT has expanded the season to include two venues, RCT Promenade Theatre- 165 seats, and The Courtyard Theater- 285 seats.
THEATRE ARTS EDUCATION FOR YOUTH: RCT provides year-round workshops and classes for ages 8-18. Students receive hands-on training in everything from beginning to advanced theater arts and taught by professionals with a focus on the development of imagination, communication skills, collaborative problem-solving, and performance techniques.
Rising costs and inflation have drastically affected RCT’s annual budget. Overhead costs are depleting programming funds. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
