$300,000 Goal

Ours is a mission that matters now mare than ever. For more than three decades, Providence has focused on the careful cultivation of pre-kindergarten through eighth grade students. We provide academically able students with a challenging experience dedicated to help them know, love, and practice that which is true, good, and excellent, and to prepare them to live purposefully and intelligently in the service of God and man.

Our Needs

The Providence Annual Fund equips teachers and staff with the front-line tools they need to serve our students. It strengthens the facilities, programs, and curriculum at the School.  Finally, it supports much needed funding for scholarships. This allows Providence to offer families from a wide array of backgrounds and life experiences access to a classical Christian education at Providence.

Our History and Impact

Providence was founded in 1989, guided by the conviction that the highest academic standards can be combined with a serious commitment to moral and spiritual values-and that this combination is crucial to the optimal development of children and youth.

Over the last three decades, our school has grown from 15 students to over 450 students today. The School draws students from 38 different zip codes, 41 congregations, and serves students from preschool through eighth grade. The end goal of classical, Christian education is a virtuous, wise person. We place great importance on character formation through the practice of good habits and through imitation in the context of a nurturing relationship between the student and teacher.

Mission

The mission of Providence Christian School of Texas is to provide academically able students with a challenging educational experience designed to help them know, love, and practice that which is true, good, and excellent and to prepare them to live purposefully and intelligently in the service of God and man.

Scholarships and tuition adjustments at Providence Christian School of Texas allow more children throughout our community to have access to classical Christian education, helping them to see Christ in all things as they learn and grow.

Every day in the news we read stories that remind us why combining high academic standards and a commitment to moral and spiritual values is crucial to the optimal development of children and youth.

Providence partners with parents to promote the innocence of childhood and prepare older students for their further education in a world increasingly hostile to Christian faith and virtue.

Your gift to the Providence Annual Fund through North Texas Giving Day will help expand our tuition adjustment and scholarship opportunities so more students can be part of Providence's educational experience designed to prepare them to live purposefully and intelligently in the service of God and man.
