What Makes Us Different?
On North Texas Giving Day, you’ll find hundreds of nonprofits asking for support. We're different because:
We serve the people other systems can’t. Nearly 40% of our patients have no insurance at all, and two-thirds live below 200% of the federal poverty line. In a state without Medicaid expansion, that means we often the only accessible option.
We are deeply rooted in historically excluded communities. More than 75% of our patients identify as Black, Hispanic, or Latino. We’re embedded in neighborhoods like Oak Cliff and South Dallas where residents face shortages of medical care.
We provide care with compassion, not judgment. Whether a patient is experiencing homelessness or managing a chronic condition, we treat them with dignity and without stigma.
We bridge the gap between hospitals and private practices. Unlike hospital systems that feel overwhelming or impersonal, we offer a neighborhood-based alternative with the full range of care.
We’re growing with purpose. While we are proud of our history in HIV care, we've expanded to welcome more women, children, and families, ensuring all North Texans have access to care close to home.

Our patients are our neighbors, working families, aging adults, or young people just starting out. They come to us because they need a trusted, affordable place for their health. We offer primary care, behavioral health, dental care, sexual wellness, and HIV management services, all in a safe and welcoming environment.
Every donation keeps our doors open.
