A message from our CEO, Toby Owen, on North Texas Giving Day.

Founded in 1984, Presbyterian Night Shelter serves 90% of Fort Worth and Tarrant County's homeless population, and is the largest provider of services for our county's homeless neighbors sheltering up to 650 guests each night.  As a low-barrier shelter, we welcome anyone without a home, and then we help them find one.

We focus our efforts on three equally important things: giving people immediate shelter, helping them find a home, and then providing them employment opportunities through UpSpire, our social enterprise, so they can earn a living wage and afford to keep their home.  Through our various programs and by providing access to critical support services and resources, our goal is to place our guests in a position to successfully transition to a safe, stable, and independent lifestyle.

Inflation and the lack of affordable housing is straining the budgets of those who are already struggling to make ends meet. Your financial support is more critical than ever before to help us meet the increased need for our services.  Please give generously to help end homelessness in Fort Worth and Tarrant County and ensure everyone has a place to call "home."
