The Plano Art Association (PAA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering creativity, education, and connection through the visual arts. Founded in 1974, PAA has been a cornerstone of the local arts community for more than 50 years, bringing together artists of all ages and experience levels, from young emerging talents to lifelong creatives.

We provide opportunities for artistic growth through exhibitions, juried shows, workshops, and community programs, cultivating a supportive, artist-centered environment where members can develop their skills, share their work, and build meaningful connections. Whether you are just beginning your artistic practice or are an established artist, PAA offers a welcoming, professional space to explore, learn, and grow.

Throughout the year the Plano Art Association (PAA) stages a num­ber of annual exhibits, including:

• The 125 Show, Plano's largest juried art exhibit, attracting artists from within a 125 mile radius of Plano (encompassing a large percentage of the North Texas Area) 
  • 2026's 125 Show had over 300 applicants and is on display at the Ten 20 Gallery from August 6th-August 30th, 2026. Don't miss the reception for this exquisite collection of artists being held on August 29th, 2026 5:30-8:00PM.

Through our programs and outreach, we work in collaboration with our members, partners, and the broader community to enrich the cultural life of our region and help ensure that the visual arts remain accessible, vibrant, and inspiring for all.

As redevelopment plans move forward, the Plano Art Association Gallery at Willow Bend will soon close a chapter that has been deeply meaningful to our artists and our community. This space has allowed us to live out our mission—to encourage the development and education of the visual arts and to share the joy, passion, and beauty of creativity within and beyond Plano. It has been a place where inspiration was not only displayed, but truly experienced. Relocating and reestablishing our gallery requires significant resources. Your financial support directly helps secure a new space, transport and preserve artwork, and continue programming for our artists. Every contribution—large or small—makes a meaningful impact.
