Now is the time for action!

While some state politicians undermine healthcare access for Texans, your support provides needed healthcare to Texans. It is more important than ever for North Texans to have the tools and resources to care for their reproductive health.

Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas' doors remain open. With your help, we can do what we do best: provide essential healthcare and advocate for our patients. Texans count on Planned Parenthood for affordable, accessible healthcare services, including:

  • preventive exams,
  • birth control (including IUDs and implants),
  • testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs),
  • screenings for breast and cervical cancer,
  • HPV vaccines to prevent cervical cancer,
  • PEP and PrEP medication to prevent HIV,
  • gender-affirming hormone therapy,
  • and more.

Nearly 46,000 patients visited Planned Parenthood last year in the Dallas Fort Worth region (DFW) through in-person and telemedicine appointments.

Additionally, 1,560 teens and young adults participated in our health education programs in DFW last year, learning age-appropriate information about their sexual health. Our TeenAge Communication Theatre, a performance group for high school students in DFW, performs peer-to-peer outreach on sexual health issues important to teens. With donor support, we expanded teen education with the new Teen Advocacy Board program that empowers teens in DFW to provide peer education and advocate for sexual health. Your North Texas Giving Day gift will provide this honest, inclusive sex education.

We are doubling down and making investments to expand our reach and improve our health centers to serve patients better. We have renovated health centers in Denton, Mesquite, relocated and renovated the North Dallas Shelburne Health Center, and constructed a new Addison Health Center to provide high-quality healthcare to our patients. We are committed to expanding access to healthcare in the DFW region while enhancing the patient experience. We ask you to join us in our commitment to care, no matter what, this North Texas Giving Day.

For over 85 years, you have trusted Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas to provide high-quality healthcare and sex education in the DFW region. Texans count on us.

Can we count on you?
