HOLIDAY CHALLENGE

If we raise $1.5 million from September 1st to December 31st, 

we will receive an additional $500,000!   

Parkinson Voice Project is a nonprofit speech therapy clinic located in Richardson, Texas.  We treat people with Parkinson's throughout Texas in our clinic and online.  Our clinic does not charge for its speech therapy services.  We are funded through donations.  We also train speech-language pathologists at hospitals and universities across the U.S. and abroad.  Our vision is to make quality speech treatment accessible to people with Parkinson's worldwide.

The Need:  One in one hundred adults over the age of 60 will be diagnosed with Parkinson’s.  Of these individuals, 90% are likely to develop speech difficulties.   Left untreated, speech disorders can lead to life-threatening swallowing complications.

$200 Provides SPEAK OUT!® Workbook & eLibrary for 4 patients.

$300 Provides online SPEAK OUT! Home Practice Session for 3,000+ people with Parkinson’s.

$475 Provides SPEAK OUT! Training for a speech pathologist or graduate student.

$1,500 Provides five SPEAK OUT! Practice Sessions for 3,000+ patients.

$2,550 Provides one month of SPEAK OUT! Therapy for two new patients.
