Approximately 2.5 million people in the US experience a brain injury annually. While the most common causes of brain injury are due to falls, automobile accidents, and assaults; they can also occur while playing sports or riding bicycles, motorcycles or all-terrain-vehicles. Brain injuries also occur when someone is experiencing a stroke, having a heart attack, or even choking. With the help of fellow survivors, their family members, community resources and professionals, we are a non-profit who gives Hope After Brain Injury.

Our Needs

Your assistance will provide the following needs:
*Annual Hope After Brain Injury Conference serving North Texas
*Counseling services for survivors and family members who need ongoing assistance addressing affects of brain injury
*Dinner/Movie night: we secure a private dinner and movie showing for survivors and their families...a great opportunity to have dinner while enjoying community
*Production of Hope Lesson videos addressing ways to recover successfully with brain injury
*Production for "One Minute of Hope" short encouragement clips

Mission

Improving recovery outcomes for brain injury survivors through education, community resources, and faith-based counseling as they navigate through the healing process. We deliver innovative training programs designed for healthcare professionals, rehabilitation specialists, and mental health counselors who support the brain injury community.
