Wise Choices Pregnancy Resource Center (WCPRC) is a non-profit, faith-based organization that exists to empower women and men in unplanned pregnancy situations to make life-affirming choices. We walk along with our clients during what can be an extremely difficult time in their lives. We believe in reaching our clients with the love, mercy and compassion of Jesus Christ by offering practical assistance in both word and action.
Wise Choices PRC is the only pregnancy medical clinic in Wise County that provides clients with free pregnancy tests and sonograms. We also see clients from surrounding counties that do not have access to these services.
Once a pregnancy has been confirmed, our clients are encouraged to attend educational classes focused on pregnancy, parenting and life skills topics. Some additional services that we provide include peer counseling, Bible studies, resource referrals, Abortion Recovery, and Abortion Pill Reversal. We also provide materials assistance such as diapers, formula, clothing, all sorts of baby and maternity items, including car seats, strollers, etc. We partner with our clients in an "Earn While You Learn" program in which they accumulate points as they attend classes, gaining knowledge on being the best parent they can be and then using the points to shop in the baby boutique for anything they need. We offer group classes, as well as individual classes that are tailored toward each client's specific needs.
There is no charge for any of our services or assistance, as we do not want financial resources to be a hinderance for any of our clients in choosing life for their child. It is only through the generosity of our donors that this is possible.
In 2021, 466 clients walked through our doors for a total of 933 visits. We provided 328 pregnancy tests and 298 sonograms. Wise Choices is not only here for women; we have male advocates who provide mentorship and peer counseling to our male clients encouraging them in their role as fathers. In 2021, there were 118 dads who used our services. For various reasons, we are seeing an even greater number of clients thus far in 2022 which is likely to be double the numbers from 2021. Therefore, we are going through the material assistance items we provide very quickly.

Currently, we are in desperate need of diapers (sizes 1, 5 & 6), wipes, formula, car seats and all items that new babies need!
Additionally, we are looking at upgrading our technology with new computers, printers, and laptops. It has been many years since we've purchased new technology and we are now offering online classes which older computers do not easily support.
Wise Choices Pregnancy Resource Center believes in LIFE for all - from conception to death. We show love, compassion, mercy, and grace to all who seek our help. Clients are served without regard to age, race, income, nationality, religious affiliation, disability or other arbitrary circumstances.
