Wesley Prep strives to be a strong and positive presence in our community by providing outstanding academics in an atmosphere that nurtures the whole child in an affordable, faith-based learning environment. Wesley Prep serves students from 6 months to 6th grade, offering Mother's Day Out and Preschool programs in addition to Elementary education.
Wesley Prep provides an experiential, interactive, and immersive approach to learning within an environment that is nurturing and joyful. Each day, teachers bring project-based learning to life, inviting students to become engaged learners in every aspect of their school days. For the 2021-22 school year, Wesley Prep has 435 students enrolled from 330 families.
We believe in the importance of teaching the whole child so that every student is well-rounded academically, socially, and emotionally. Small class sizes of 10-16 allow our preschool and elementary teachers to go beyond the curriculum, provide more individually tailored instruction, and our students to participate in a wealth of enrichment classes. The Christian environment teaches students to be kind, responsible citizens who care for others and the world around them. The result is students who are confident, life-long learners and leaders in their communities.
Because Wesley Prep's programs extend from 6 months to Sixth Grade, many families call Wesley Prep home for as many as 12 years per child. This provides ample time for our students to develop in an environment that is consistent and intentional. As they move up the ladder at Wesley Prep, students feel nurtured and safe, and teachers have a clear understanding of each child's personality and academic needs. Following graduation, Wesley Prep students attend some of the most selective private schools in the North Dallas area as well as neighborhood public schools.
North Texas Giving Day funding received by Wesley Prep will be used to provide: additional financial aid for students with need, enhanced educational programming, curricular updates and adoptions, ongoing faculty training and development, as well as additional enrichment resources for all grade levels.
