VOICES OF CHANGE

A nonprofit organization

Voices of Change (VOC) is one of the longest-lived and most distinguished classical music ensembles performing new music in the United States. Now beginning its 48th Season, VOC fills a unique niche in the music world by performing small ensemble works by 20th- and 21st-century composers. Our goal is to encourage and preserve the impulse of musical creativity and imagination through live performances, educational outreach programs, and the commissioning of new classical works from living composers.

Our Needs

Ticket sales do not cover the operating costs needed to hold four season concerts, produce programs and other concert publicity materials, hold school workshops and sponsor young composer competitions. Funds are also needed to commission new works by living composers and to make recordings of each concert. We simply cannot thrive without the generous support we receive from our patrons.

Mission

To promote the works of contemporary composers through performance, commissioning, recording, and education.
