You make so much possible for VNA and those we serve.

Thanks to your dedicated support, our Meals on Wheels clients receive nourishment and companionship, and our clinical teams continue caring for seriously ill patients through hospice and palliative care.

Your trust has helped VNA remain resilient and steadfast in our mission: to enhance health and well-being in our community with compassion, dignity, and integrity. The challenges we’ve faced this past year have made us stronger. Here’s what your support has made possible:

Meals on Wheels

With your help, VNA has continued serving homebound seniors through our Meals on Wheels program, now in its 52nd year. Volunteers deliver food and friendship five days a week, and we regularly welcome corporate and community groups through our Days of Caring program. We've also expanded service to new clients, reducing our waiting list and reaching more seniors in need.

Hospice & Palliative Care

As one of North Texas's oldest and most experienced hospice providers, VNA’s interdisciplinary care team helps patients live fully and comfortably with dignity and respect. Our holistic care approach supports not only patients but also their families, addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental well-being. Nurses, social workers, aides, chaplains, therapists, physicians, and volunteers all work together to deliver compassionate, whole-person care.

 Pediatric Hospice Care

Our Children’s Haven Pediatric Program provides specialized care and guidance for patients from prenatal stages through age 21. We work closely with families and healthcare providers to align care with each family's goals and values, offering support throughout every stage of a child’s illness.

Coming Soon: North Texas’s First Hospice House

One of VNA’s most impactful initiatives is now in development—the first and only Hospice House in North Texas. This residential facility will serve individuals who cannot safely receive care at home due to unstable housing, lack of caregiver support, or absence of basic utilities. The Hospice House will feature five private rooms with 24/7 care from our expert hospice team. Room and board will be provided at no cost, and no one will be turned away due to financial hardship.

GIFTS: Help Us Feed More Seniors Than Ever Before

This year, we’re serving nearly 300 more seniors than last—and every meal now costs over $1 more to prepare and deliver. Your donation helps us keep up with this growing need, ensuring that no senior goes hungry or unseen. Give now to support food, safety checks, and compassionate care.

SUPPLIES: Bring Comfort to Children in Crisis

When illness or loss affects a family, it can be especially confusing for children. Our Child Life Specialists support children of hospice patients and seriously ill children by providing tools to help them cope, heal, and remember. You can help by donating memory-making crafts and therapeutic supplies that support healing through creativity.
