TITAS/DANCE UNBOUND (TITAS) connects people through extraordinary dance experiences.
Rather than producing a resident company, TITAS serves as Dallas's curator of global dance, identifying exceptional artists whose work reflects the breadth, innovation, and cultural diversity of the contemporary performing arts. Since presenting Pilobolus in our inaugural season, TITAS has welcomed audiences to more than 750 live performances, including over 215 Dallas debuts, featuring artists from more than 50 countries. From internationally acclaimed companies to visionary emerging choreographers, our programming introduces North Texas audiences to groundbreaking artistic voices while celebrating the rich cultural traditions that shape dance around the world.
TITAS has served this role in Dallas since 1982, creating shared cultural experiences that help people encounter difference, recognize common humanity, and feel more connected to the world and to one another.
For 2026-27, we proudly present a season of nine extraordinary companies from the United States, Canada, France, and Argentina:
Ballets Jazz Montréal (Canada) | 9.18-9.19.2026
Pilobolus | 11.6–11.7.2026
Alonzo King LINES Ballet | 12.19.2026
STEP Afrika! | 1.15–1.16.2027
Alan Lake Factori(e) (Canada)| 2.5–2.6.2027
Social Tango Project (Argentina) | 2.26–2.27.2027
Hervé Koubi (France) | 3.27.2027
Yue Yin Dance Company | 4.2–4.3.2027
PHILADANCO! | 5.8.2027
AND
TITAS Command Performance + Gala (Special Event) | 4.24.2027
TITAS/DANCE UNBOUND entertains, educates, and inspires by curating and commissioning extraordinary dance and performance art from around the world.
Help Keep World-Class Dance Alive in North Texas
TITAS/DANCE UNBOUND brings the most extraordinary dance companies from around the globe to North Texas—artists who inspire, provoke, and connect our diverse community through the power of movement. But this kind of world-class programming doesn’t happen by accident. It takes bold vision, tireless commitment, and your support.
For over 40 years, TITAS has been more than just a presenter. We are a bridge—between international artists and local audiences, between art and education, between Dallas and the world. We offer transformative experiences: free masterclasses for students, artist talks that deepen understanding, and access to performances that might otherwise never come to our region.
But the cost of producing world-class performances is rising fast. Artist fees, travel, housing, venue expenses, and educational outreach—these all require significant resources. As a nonprofit, ticket sales cover only a portion of what it takes to bring these unforgettable moments to life.
This is where you come in.
Your gift on North Texas Giving Day helps ensure that TITAS/DANCE UNBOUND continues to ignite imaginations, support artistic excellence, and inspire the next generation of creators and dreamers. Every dollar goes directly toward bringing exceptional dance to our stages and our schools.
Join us. Give boldly. Dance freely.
North Texas is made up of people from diverse communities and equity-seeking groups defined as ALAANA and LGBTQIA+. We recognize that barriers to services may exist for members of diverse communities, particularly for equity-seeking groups, and we are committed to acting as a positive force in eliminating these barriers.
To achieve this, TITAS/DANCE UNBOUND will:
- Strive to ensure that diverse communities have equitable access to its services, resources and decision-making
- Act in a nondiscriminatory manner and promote the goals of anti-racism, access and equity
- Take reasonable steps to ensure its services, programs and decision-making reflect the principles and objectives of the community it serves
