The Chick With Pits, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization (Tax ID 46-2244193) located in Caddo Mills, TX. Our organization was founded by Joanna Goodman in 2013 as a result of her passion for rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals of all shapes and sizes. Our original focus is and will always remain on bully breeds, but we are truly an all-breed and multi-species animal rescue and farm sanctuary. Rehabilitation and education are main focuses for us and we hope to do some community outreach programs in the future.
The mission of The Chick With Pits is to provide a no-kill safe-haven for dogs(especially the bully breeds) and other animals until each one is adopted into a loving home that recognizes them as an equal member of their family and to provide sanctuary for farm animals who are slaughter-bound, orphaned, and otherwise neglected.
