For a family experiencing domestic violence, getting somewhere safe is just the first step.

For 50 years, The Archway (formerly SafeHaven of Tarrant County) has helped victims of domestic violence find safety and build lives beyond violence. And every day, that work looks a little different.

It can look like a trained advocate answering the phone in the middle of the night. A safe bed waiting for a mom and her children. Hot meals when a family arrives with nothing. Childcare while a mom goes to work. An advocate sitting beside a victim in the hospital. An attorney helping secure a protective order. Or an apartment where a family can take the next step toward living safely and independently.

With your generous donation, all of these resources are provided at no cost to victims and their families right here in Dallas-Fort Worth.

But our work doesn't stop when a family reaches safety. The Archway also works throughout Tarrant County to prevent domestic violence, educate our community and address the behaviors and systems that allow violence to continue.

This North Texas Giving Day, your gift can meet a family at the exact moment they need it most and help them find their way beyond domestic violence.

Mission

The Archway's mission is to keep victims safe, hold offenders accountable, and strengthen the system.
