We send high school students to Boys State which is a program that the American Legions supports: Students are sent to Austin, Texas to learn how the State, County, and City Governments are operated. Each student has the opportunity to be elected Governor, Senator and Mayor for one day so they can experience the position. We donate funds to Scottish Rite Hospital, Homeless Veterans, and Dallas Honor Guard. We also give to the Veterans Hospital in Dallas, so they may give the needed hygiene supplies that are needed to patients.

Our Needs

We need funds to contribute to our charities to help Veterans and their families, plus our local communities.

Giving Activity

Mission

To enhance the well-being of America's veterans, their families, and our communities by our devotion to mutual helpfulness.

Needs

We need funding to keep our doors open to provide help to needy veterans. Whether homeless, hungry, or disabled. We are here to help them.

Equity Statement

We help many veterans and their families plus support our local communities and non-profits organizations. We also sponsor young men to go to Texas Boys State at UT Austin.
