Welcome to The Highlands School! For 40 years, we have been forming students to become the very best versions of themselves—in mind, heart, and spirit. As we proudly celebrate this milestone anniversary, we remain committed to the Catholic mission that has guided us since our founding.

As a Pre-K3 through 12th-grade Catholic college preparatory school, we provide a nurturing environment where every student is known, loved, and guided to grow in faith, character, and excellence.

Our dedicated teachers go beyond academics, serving as mentors and role models who inspire, challenge, and walk alongside students throughout their journey. Through their care and guidance, learning becomes a path toward discovering one’s purpose.

Rooted in our Integral Formation® philosophy, we develop authentic Catholic leaders who recognize that they are Called to Make a Difference and are prepared to transform society with integrity, wisdom, and joy.

Your gift helps us continue this mission and build upon 40 years of empowering students to learn deeply, lead boldly, live faithfully, and make a meaningful difference in the world.

Our Needs

Our new turf field is complete—and already transforming the athletic experience at The Highlands School! Each day, students are using this new space to grow in character, virtue, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Now, we are ready to build on this momentum. Your North Texas Giving Day gift will help move us into Phase II: adding a track, lights, and fencing to expand the field’s use and create even more opportunities for our students and community.

Together, we can complete the next phase and continue building a place where faith, excellence, and athletic spirit thrive.

As with most private schools and colleges, tuition alone does not cover the full cost of educating a child at The Highlands. We are committed to keeping tuition affordable while continuing our mission of providing an authentic, high-quality Catholic education. Tuition and fees cover approximately 84% of the cost per student — the remaining 16% comes from the generous support of donors like you.

Your generosity helps us bridge that gap and continue forming students who are faith-filled leaders, scholars, and athletes prepared to transform the world.

Mission

Partnering with parents, The Highlands School forms authentic Catholic leaders to transform society and the world.

We follow the Integral Formation® educational philosophy of the Regnum Christi Education International Network, which strives to develop the spiritual, intellectual, human, and apostolic dimensions of the whole person. Integral Formation® is a comprehensive method and practice of teaching for developing authentic Catholic leaders in our +150 schools worldwide, with over 65 years of experience in educational field.

We believe that the spiritual life and character development are essential for the development of children. The Highlands has in our staff religious men and women whose focus is the personalized character and spiritual development of each student.

We have a clear and enthusiastic Catholic identity, yet lived in a way that families from other faiths feel at home. We incorporate the truth about who God is and how we should relate to Him and to each other into the daily lived experience at school.

We challenge our students to identify and use their gifts in service to others. Recognizing the parent as the primary educator of the child, our mission embraces the entire family. We provide a safe, moral, and spiritual environment which leads to positive peer groups and joyful, caring, confident students.

It is summed up in the THS motto: To Teach, To Educate, To Form.
