$30,000 Goal

For every $1 donated to Bridge Breast Network, the equivalent of ten dollars in medical care can be provided. Our medical partners either donate their services or provide them at a substantial discount; allowing BBN to direct 95% of our dollars to client care. As a result, BBN can provide early-stage breast cancer treatment for nearly $22,000.

Our Needs

Our most pressing need is funds for early detection and breast cancer treatment services. Many individuals that lost their jobs during COVID have had to accept lower paying positions.  Those with insurance may be unable to cover their co-pay and out-of-pocket expenses for healthcare.  As a result, our services are needed even more.  Other program administrative needs include office supplies, copy paper, manila folders, Avery address labels and ink pens.

Mission

The mission of the Bridge Breast Network (BBN) is to save lives by providing access to diagnostic and treatment services for breast cancer to low income, uninsured and underinsured individuals. Our program has been a bridge of hope for many uninsured North Texans, and the premise that no woman should suffer in silence with breast cancer because she lacks the financial resources still remains the foundation of our program.

Equity Statement

The Bridge Breast Network, in recognition of its responsibility to its volunteers, its staff and the community it serves, reaffirms its policy to ensure fair and equal treatment in all its employment practices and services to its clients, for all persons regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or veteran status.
