Texas CARES is a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer foster-based cat rescue that has been helping find perfect forever homes for cats and kittens for over 30 years. Texas CARES rescues cats and kittens from shelters throughout the DFW Metroplex and ensures they receive the medical care they need before they are adopted into loving forever homes. Donations on North Texas Giving Day ensure Texas CARES can continue their mission for many years to come.

Texas CARES mission is to be a resource for the rescue and adoption of cats and kittens in the Dallas and surrounding area.
Texas CARES is in need of financial donations to help provide rescued cats and kittens the medical care they need. Funds raised will also assist in getting fosters the supplies they need including food, litter and toys.
Texas CARES prides itself on finding adoptable cats and kittens homes to anyone who is able to provide a safe and loving home, regardless of ethnicity or gender. Our Board has several members of the LGBTQ Community working hard to continue to continue our Mission to be open and inclusive to all potential adopters.
