Texas Ballet Theater believes ballet belongs to everyone.

Since our founding in 1961, Texas Ballet Theater has enriched North Texas through world-class performances, exceptional training, and community engagement that brings the arts within reach for all.

Every performance we share inspires audiences with the beauty, artistry, and athleticism of dance. But our impact extends far beyond the stage. Through education and community programs, we introduce thousands of children—many experiencing ballet for the very first time—to creativity, confidence, and the power of the performing arts.

Your North Texas Giving Day gift helps make professional ballet accessible to families across our community, provides meaningful arts education in local schools, and nurtures the next generation of artists and arts lovers.

Giving Activity

Mission

The mission of Texas Ballet Theater is to create, present and tour world-class ballet, from classical to cutting-edge, and promote its appreciation, accessibility, and technical mastery among students, pre-professionals, and audiences of all ages.

As the only resident performing arts company for both Nancy Lee and Perry R. Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth and the AT&T Performing Arts Center in Dallas, Texas Ballet Theater (TBT) is proud to serve as a leader for the arts and cultural vibrancy of North Texas. Through the organization's artistic merit, impactful outreach initiatives, and diverse community partnerships, TBT increases access to the arts and arts education.

Needs

RAISE THE BARRE FOR OUR FUTURE

TBT is entering an exciting new chapter.

Our new Dallas School at Preston Center is open, bringing ballet education into a vibrant new community. Our expanded Fort Worth campus is creating new possibilities for dancers, students, artists and the broader community. The Fort Worth facility includes expanded studios, a dance lab, student spaces, costume production areas and administrative offices, with additional company and community focused spaces planned as the project continues.

These aren't simply new spaces. They're investments in what comes next.

More students. More artists. More audiences. More opportunities. More ballet.

RAISE THE BARRE FOR ACCESS

We believe ballet belongs to everyone.

That's why so much of TBT's work happens beyond the theater.

Through CityDance, TBT brings free beginner ballet classes to students in North Texas who may not otherwise have access to dance. The program reaches more than 1,400 students each year through partnerships with local schools.

Through our Student Matinee Series, more than 35,000 students annually experience the magic of live ballet—many for the very first time.

Through ticket access programs, community partnerships and other outreach initiatives, we're working to make sure that the opportunity to experience ballet isn't determined by a family's zip code or circumstances.

Because everyone deserves the chance to be inspired.

RAISE THE BARRE FOR ARTISTRY

TBT brings world-class ballet to audiences across Dallas-Fort Worth—from beloved classics to bold new works that challenge expectations and reflect the world around us.

Our dancers push themselves to reach new levels of technical excellence and artistic expression, bringing extraordinary stories to life on stages in Fort Worth and Dallas.

And we're not standing still.

With new facilities, expanded training opportunities and a growing presence throughout North Texas, TBT is building an even stronger future for professional ballet and the artists who make it possible.

RAISE THE BARRE FOR THE NEXT GENERATION

Where does the future of ballet begin?

Texas Ballet Theater School provides training from creative ballet through pre-professional programs at locations in Fort Worth, Dallas and Richardson, helping students develop technique, confidence, discipline and creativity. Our new Dallas School at Preston Center brings TBT's training and resources to even more families in the heart of the community.

For aspiring professional dancers, programs such as our Summer Intensive and Studio Training Company provide opportunities to train at an exceptional level while preparing for the next step in their careers.

We're not just training dancers. We're helping young people discover what they can become.

THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO RAISE THE BARRE.

North Texas Giving Day is an opportunity for our entire community to come together and move ballet forward.

Your gift helps TBT:

Bring world-class ballet to North Texas audiences.

Provide exceptional training to the next generation of dancers.

Bring ballet and arts education to students across our community.

Expand access to meaningful arts experiences.

Build a stronger future for ballet in North Texas.

Every gift helps us Raise The Barre.
