Texas OES Rescue, Inc. Texas Old English Sheepdog Rescue Incorporated, a registered 501(c) 3 of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code Corporation, is a group of dedicated volunteers who give their time and love to the rescued Sheepdogs who come into the program. We receive Old English Sheepdogs from both owner surrenders and shelters. Additionally, we coordinate with other rescue organizations throughout the United States, it's territories, Canada, and Mexico. We offer education and support to all who care for and love this breed. Many of our rescue Sheepdogs are in good health, but for whatever reason, need to find new homes. Occasionally, we receive a dog in need of medical attention who we nurse back to health prior to placement.

Assistance for Medical needs
TXOESR, Inc., a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization which exists to increase public awareness of abandoned, orphaned, or homeless Old English Sheepdogs; to promote and expand the fostering, care, and adoption of abandoned, orphaned, or homeless Old English Sheepdogs
Medical needs for every OES coming in our care. TXOESR will spare no expense to help our rescues. We health test our rescues and give them the highest care necessary. Additionally, this year TXOESR is focusing on the training needs. Many of the rescues are found needing our help with socialization and training. The abandoned and abused rescues often need the extra help in preparing for their new forever families. Here are a few of our recent TXOESR rescues:
- Duke a stray rescued from a shelter in Albuquerque, NM in early 2026.
- Dudley a stray rescued from the streets of Amarillo, TX.
- Hoss and Molly surrendered by elder folks who could no longer cope with care in Alpine, TX.
- Whitney a stray rescued from the streets of Houston, TX.
- Bette and Dot rescued from a backyard breeder / hoarder in Arlington, TX
