About Tarrant Area Food Bank

Tarrant Area Food Bank envisions a community where everyone has access to the food they need. Throughout our 13-county service area, TAFB provides more than 1,000,000 meals each week to families, children, and seniors facing hunger. Rising costs leave many unsure of their next meal, but thanks to the support of compassionate volunteers, over 450 partner agencies, and strong community partnerships, TAFB continues to meet this critical need.

To further meet the need of our community's most vulnerable population, TAFB's Ready to Learn® initiative will ensure that every child has access to the most important school supply - food.
