Stomping Ground Comedy Theater is a non-profit comedy organization founded in 2017 by Lindsay Goldapp and Andrea K. Baum in Dallas, TX. Stomping Ground is a new kind of space for comedy and improv, dedicated to using comedy as a force for positive change in our communities.
Led by a diverse team with over 100 combined years of comedy experience, Stomping Ground does a lot of things:
- We're a theater hosting the most talented improvisers, sketch performers, and stand-ups in North Texas.
- We're a training center teaching all levels of comedy classes in improv, sketch, stand-up, and storytelling for kids and adults.
- We're a corporate partner, using improv to help businesses have fun and work better as a team.
- With our Improv for Life programming, led by Licensed Professional Counselors, we blend improv games with therapeutic techniques to support populations with specific needs such as anxiety, Autism, and caregiving for those with Alzheimer's and dementia.
