A Faith-Filled Education for Every Child
At St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic School, we believe that God has a unique plan for every child. Guided by a Catholic understanding of education, we strive to create an environment where students are encouraged to grow academically, spiritually, and personally.
We foster a strong sense of faith and provide opportunities for meaningful conversations about God, and each student’s individual purpose. We believe that an education rooted in faith helps children develop not only strong minds, but also compassionate hearts and a lasting relationship with God.
St. Bernard is proud to offer a dedicated Catholic faculty, rigorous academic programs, and extracurricular opportunities.
The school is led by Principal Mrs. Kelley Mims and supported by the Religious Family of the Incarnate Word, a Catholic religious family founded in Argentina in 1984. Through this partnership, St. Bernard remains committed to forming students in faith, excellence, service, and a deep love for Christ.
At St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic School, we seek to educate the whole child—mind, heart, and spirit—while helping each student discover and live out God’s unique plan for his or her life.
Our school’s mission is to provide students with a quality, faith-based education that is rooted in the principles of Catholic thought. We strive to educate the whole person and to have an environment that promotes virtue (moral and theological), academic rigor and super-natural joy among faculty and students.
We believe a student's future moral, academic and social success depends on their ability to think with intellectual honesty and to work among diverse situations and types of people. Our school also puts strong emphasis on Catholic liturgy and sacramental formation. We also follow the pedagogical method developed by Saint John Bosco, patron saint of the youth and school children.

In addition to teacher salaries and health care expenses, a significant portion of our school budget is dedicated to curriculum, facility utilities, and necessary repairs. Many of these essential expenses are made possible through school fundraising, the generosity of our parishioners and friends, and grant funding.
