Needs
Sparrow Collective is seeking to raise support for our restorative programs: Restore 1.0, Restore 2.0, Restore Job Training Program, and the ROW Production Studio Residency.
At Sparrow, we are passionate about all women understanding their worth in Christ, that's why we welcome women overcoming difficult circumstances, regardless of the circumstance, to participate in our restorative programs for free, beginning in Restore 1.0.
Restore 1.0 and 2.0 are designed to communicate dignity and worth to our participants through the sharing of food, experiencing the restorative work of art, and learning about their identity in Christ. After Restore 1.0, women are welcome to apply for our Job Training Program where they are equipped in skills in the areas of customer service, general office tasks, event management, retail, and more. As they grow in these professional skills, they also gain an understanding of working on a team, money management, professionalism, problem solving, resume building, and scheduling.
After completing the 8 month Restore Job Training Program, participants are assisted in finding and applying for jobs in line with their identity and gifting. They are also invited to apply for the ROW Production Studio Residency, where they continue to grow in professionalism and skills as they continue to grow in the Lord.
Restore 1.0 and Restore 2.0 are completely free to our participants. Participants in Sparrow Job Training and the ROW Production Studio Residency work for a fair wage for approximately 10 hours per week.
Donations to Sparrow Collective during North Texas Giving Day will help support women participating in the Job Training Program and ROW Production Studio Residency.
