Needs
At Stork’s Nest Charity Fund of Dallas, our work is rooted in supporting women, children, and families across North Central Texas through maternal health education, scholarships, mentoring, and community outreach. As the needs in our communities continue to grow, so does the need for accessible resources, safe spaces, and programs that create lasting impact.
The needs of SNCFD include:
• Expanding maternal and family health initiatives, including education, wellness programming, and support services for women and families
• Sustaining and growing our Lactation Nest partnerships across Dallas College campuses to provide safe, supportive spaces for nursing mothers and student parents
• Providing scholarships, mentoring, and leadership development opportunities through programs such as Miss Blue Revue
• Increasing access to community education focused on healthy pregnancies, infant care, mental wellness, and family stability
• Supporting outreach efforts in underserved communities through health fairs, workshops, and resource distribution
• Funding operational needs that allow our organization to continue serving families effectively, including program supplies, educational materials, transportation assistance, and community event costs
• Building partnerships with healthcare providers, schools, nonprofits, and community leaders to strengthen the support network available to families in North Texas
Every contribution helps SNCFD continue its mission to uplift women and families, promote healthy children, and provide meaningful resources throughout the community.
