St. John's Episcopal School

The first Episcopal school in Dallas, St. John’s was created as an outreach of St. John’s Episcopal Church in 1953. Located on 10 acres in East Dallas near White Rock Lake, our campus is purposely designed to foster dynamic learning, encourage academic excellence, and spur collaboration and community with our 492 students in preschool through eighth grade. St. John’s remains committed to the five tenets of an Episcopal education: academic excellence, corporate worship, religious studies based on Biblical content, meaningful, integrated community service and service-learning projects, all within an inclusive community where the dignity of every human being is respected. These principals are reflected in our mission statement and code, guide our decisions and actions, and shape the environment we create for our students.
