Sanger Friends of the Library

We help the Library provide local educational enrichment opportunities (like exotic Animal Visits and science demos), not otherwise available in a small town. We focus on encouraging children, teens and even adults to read during the summer. In addition, we often provide volunteer help for special events, like Family Game Day and the Craft Supply Swap. Sometimes we are called upon to purchase furnishings or operating supplies.

Our Needs

We would love to have younger members willing to take leadership roles. We need to support children's summer reading by providing programs and incentives. We would like to expand our support of adult education, by providing volunteers to teach computer classes, homesteading skills or other enriching experiences.
