$10,000 Goal

Primos is a mentoring organization that pairs young Latino students with Latino professionals. We primarily serve students in the Southeast Dallas area of Pleasant Grove (75217 & 75227 zip codes).

Primos means cousin in Spanish. The goal of Primos is to foster an authentic family-like relationship between mentors, mentees, parents, and our organization. This concept of family allows our community to grow and navigate life together.

We connect students with a mentor and providing programming for both students & parents via workshops and training. Primos monthly events center around our mission of preparing students to be College, Career, and Life Ready. We also link students to internships, job shadowing opportunities, and provide scholarships.

Primos is 100% volunteer run and has a working board primarily made up of women of color. Your generous support goes a long way in helping us impact students and families!

Mission

Primos empower students and their families to tackle any challenge through mentoring and exposure opportunities.

Needs

Primos seeks to fund college visits for our mentees. We plan to take students to visit colleges not only in the metroplex, but also out of state. We hope to encourage them to dream big!
