Presbyterian Night Shelter exists to love our neighbor by bringing hope to the homeless, compassion to the hurting, belonging to the forgotten, and grace to those seeking a second chance.
See how an employment opportunity is a doorway to dignity.
Founded in 1984, Presbyterian Night Shelter serves 90% of Fort Worth and Tarrant County's homeless population and is the largest provider of services for our homeless neighbors sheltering more than 750 guests each night. As a low-barrier shelter, we welcome anyone without a home, and then we help them find one.
Our work spans the entire journey out of homelessness, providing safe shelter in times of crisis, supporting the move into permanent housing, and creating employment opportunities through UpSpire so people can earn a sustainable wage and build stability. Through comprehensive programs and access to vital resources, we empower our guests to achieve lasting independence and a secure, stable future.
Inflation and the lack of affordable housing is straining the budgets of those who are already struggling to make ends meet. Your financial support is more critical than ever before to meet the increased need for our shelter, housing, and employment programs. Please give generously to help end homelessness in Fort Worth and Tarrant County and ensure everyone has a place to call home.
