This year we were named one of the three Best Small Libraries in America. We are open to all and create a common bond to all living in a community. We have a large impact on the local economy and workforce development through the provision of a variety of classes and resources. We are important for early literacy and partnering with all levels of education.

Mission
The Friends is formed:
To maintain a membership of persons and businesses;
To support and cooperate with the Library in developing, maintaining, and enhancing facilities, resources, and services for the public;
To stimulate the use of the Library's facilities, resources, and services;
To fundraise for the benefit of the Library;
To focus public attention on the Library and;
To support the freedom to read as expressed in the American Library Association Bill of Rights.
Needs
Funding for operating expenses to expand our capacity.

We support the intentional distribution of resources and tools for everyone to have the opportunity to succeed, especially for individuals and/or groups that have been historically underserved and underrepresented.
