About PeopleFund:

Established in 1994, PeopleFund has almost 30 years of experience serving the most under-resourced small businesses, helping thousands on the path to financial security and independence. We serve the entire state of Texas, including greater DFW.

PeopleFund creates economic opportunity and financial stability for underserved people and communities by providing access to capital, education, and resources to build healthy small businesses. We believe that every person can become a successful entrepreneur and job creator given access to the resources they need. Our goal is to give people the opportunity to turn their talents into a sustainable livelihood and achieve financial stability for themselves and their families.

We support underserved small businesses of all backgrounds, regardless of race, gender, or creed, including entrepreneurs of color, women, VeteransSince inception, PeopleFund has delivered over $236 million in financial assistance to over 5,640 small businesses and $187 million in New Market Tax Credit allocations that attracted $812 million in investments--putting PeopleFund's direct impact in the Texas economy surpassing $1 billion. We have also helped create and retain nearly 24,000 jobs and delivered 200,000 hours of free business education. Currently, the DFW metroplex is PeopleFund’s second largest market, with about 20% of our borrowers served out of our Dallas and Fort Worth offices., and those located in hard-to reach areas.

Since inception, PeopleFund has delivered over $236 million in financial assistance to over 5,640 small businesses and $187 million in New Market Tax Credit allocations that attracted $812 million in investments--putting PeopleFund's direct impact in the Texas economy surpassing $1 billion. We have also helped create and retain nearly 24,000 jobs and delivered 200,000 hours of free business education. Currently, Dallas-Fort Worth is PeopleFund’s second largest market, with about 20% of our borrowers served out of our Dallas and Fort Worth offices.

How Your Gift Will Make A Difference:

Your support will champion North Texas small businesses by equipping them with the capital, business training, and networks needed to thrive, including:

• Business Coaching: We provide free expert 1x1 business coaching to any interested individual, no matter where they are in their entrepreneurial journey.

• Networking Events: We host events to bring entrepreneurs together to grow their professional networks, including interactive panels, facilitated networking, and virtual meetups.

• Small Business Accelerator: This program provides entrepreneurs of low to moderate income with the network, tools, and resources needed to grow their business.

• Military-Connected Small Business Accelerator: This program provides Veterans and Veteran spouses with the network, tools, and resources needed to grow their business. Curriculum is tailored to military-connected entrepreneurs.

• Small Business Lending: Access to capital is one of the greatest barriers for small business success. PeopleFund provides affordable, flexible small business loans to entrepreneurs who have been turned away from traditional funding sources.

• Veteran's Programs: We offer technical assistance and small business loans with a specialized low interest rate for loans to small businesses owned by Veterans or Veteran spouses.
