The Pearls of the Ivy Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization, which funds scholarships, community empowerment programs and activities while providing volunteers and assistance to other non-profit organizations.
The Pearls of the Ivy Foundation seeks charitable contributions and funds to assist our support of community outreach programs and activities which focus on:
- Assisting students in their efforts to enter college
- Empowering our families through Childhood Hunger initiatives, Youth Leadership Institute and Mental Health Awareness
- Building our economic wealth by promoting financial planning, wealth building, supporting Women Entrepreneurs and Black-Owned businesses
- Enhancing our environment by planting trees and community gardens, supporting waste reduction, shredding and recycling efforts
The purpose/mission of the Pearls of the Ivy Foundation is to provide scholarships to exemplary high school students who are accepted by an accredited college or university, assist students in college with demonstrated financial need, fund the programs and activities identified as community service needs, Upsilon Lambda Omega programs and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. International Programs and provide volunteers and assistance to other non-profit organizations.
