Parkinson Voice Project is a nonprofit speech therapy clinic located in Richardson, Texas.  We treat people with Parkinson's throughout Texas in our clinic and online.  Our clinic does not charge for its speech therapy services.  We are funded through donations.  We also train speech-language pathologists at hospitals and universities across the U.S. and abroad.  Our vision is to make quality speech treatment accessible to people with Parkinson's worldwide.

The Need:  One in one hundred adults over the age of 60 will be diagnosed with Parkinson’s.  Of these individuals, 90% are likely to develop speech difficulties.   Left untreated, speech disorders can lead to life-threatening swallowing complications.

Our Campaign To Reach America:  In May 2022, Parkinson Voice Project launched its $20 Million Campaign To Reach America.  So far, we have raised over $10,000,000!  To learn more about this campaign, visit:

Our Needs

$150 pays for a speech therapy workbook for three people diagnosed with Parkinson's.

$475 pays for a speech-language pathologist to be trained in Parkinson Voice Project's treatment program.

$1,800 pays for one person with Parkinson's to receive a month of speech therapy at Parkinson Voice Project.

$10,000 sponsors one Therapy & Research Center in a university clinic for one year.

The mission of Parkinson Voice Project is to preserve the speech and communication of individuals with Parkinson's and related neurological disorders through intensive speech therapy, follow-up support, research, education, and community awareness.

Parkinson Voice Project doesn't bill insurance or charge for its speech therapy services. Any person with Parkinson's living in Texas can receive all the speech therapy they need. Online therapy makes it possible to treat the homebound, patients who do not drive, and patients living in rural areas. Donations made to Parkinson Voice Project help cover the salaries of our licensed speech-language pathologists, as well as the therapy workbooks and supplies needed during treatment.
