Mission

Operation Tiny House upholds the dignity of veterans by providing housing, a path to purpose, and community fellowship.

Needs

Operation Tiny House is dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and sustainable community for veterans in need. Your generous donations on North Texas Giving Day will help us continue our mission to support those who have served our country. Here’s how your contributions can make a difference:

1. Maintenance and Upkeep of the Tiny House Veteran Community

• Facility Maintenance: Ensuring the tiny homes and community facilities remain safe, clean, and comfortable for our residents.

• Utility Bills: Covering the costs of water, electricity, and other essential services.

• Repairs and Improvements: Addressing any structural repairs and making improvements to enhance the living conditions.

2. Veterans’ Essential Needs

• Food: Providing nutritious meals and groceries to our veteran residents.

• Clothing: Supplying clothing and footwear suitable for all seasons.

• Medical Supplies: Ensuring access to necessary medical supplies and personal hygiene items.

3. Monthly Veteran Breakfast

• Event Supplies: Covering the costs of food, beverages, and other supplies for our monthly veteran community breakfast.

• Community Building: Facilitating a space for veterans to connect, share stories, and support each other in a welcoming environment.

Equity Statement

We ensure that our initiatives are designed with inclusivity in mind, considering the diverse needs and experiences of all veterans, regardless of gender, ability, or situation. We actively work to eliminate barriers that may disproportionately affect certain groups of veterans, ensuring equitable access to training, and economic mobility opportunities.
