Who We Are:
We are a 501c3 approved nonprofit organization with a team who desires to be an encouragement for families who are enduring a tough time due to their child's medical journey. Children love hotels and the adventures they bring, while parents love hotels and the services they provide.
What We Do:
We provide a one-night stay at a local DFW hotel to celebrate a child's medical discharge. The stay will be placed at a partnering hotel with availability at no cost to the family. The stay will include room and tax, meal dining credit, valet parking and customized amenities for the family. We also provide tickets to local experiences or attractions pending the medical recovery. We curate each stay to reflect what would bring the most joy for the family. Every stay is different based on the child's and family needs.
Who We Serve:
Our families are referred to us from our partnering medical facilities where we rely on the medical staff and social care workers to determine who will best fit the eligibility requirements of our program. Patient eligibility:
Patient must be 3-18 years of age
Patient must be receiving medical treatment/care for at least 30 days or more
Patient's family must be referred by a partnering surgeon, healthcare worker or within the Operation Bliss network in order to be considered for the stay
Our mission is to create a memorable hotel stay following a child's medical procedure in order to provide support, bring joy and celebrate the road to recovery.
