It is estimated that the Club has contributed over $1.5 million to charitable causes through the dedicated efforts of Club members. We support the Texas Lions Camp for disabled children and the Lions Sight and Tissue Foundation. Our club also sponsors and provides volunteers at free eye clinics for low income children and adults. Oak Cliff Lions also participate in Meals on Wheels and contribute to Mission Oak Cliff and the North Texas Food Bank. Our service programs have improved the lives of the people in our community and we will continue to do so.

Lions Club International mission is to empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions Club.
The Oak Cliff Lions Club is all about doing services to the community, especially in the Dallas Oak Cliff area. From local projects such as funding the Oak Cliff Eye Clinic facility (in the 1950's), to a major contribution to the Dallas Zoo for the Bird and Reptile House (in the 1960's), a gift of monetary funds to the Oak Cliff YMCA Building on South Hampton Road (in the 1970's) and to help launch the tactile exhibit for the visually impaired at the Dallas Zoo (in the 1990's). Our Club members have been ready and willing to meet the needs of our community.
Our organization depends on the incredible diversity of our members around the world because great things can only be achieved when we are united. #KindnessMatters
