A One-of-a-Kind School with a Life-Changing Mission
Since 1963, Notre Dame School has been the only independent school in Dallas solely dedicated to educating students with developmental disabilities. We serve 142 students ages 6 to 22, offering a curriculum that includes academics, daily living skills, and vocational training.
Families from 83 zip codes across North Texas choose Notre Dame School for its unique approach to education. Our comprehensive curriculum combines academics with daily living skills and vocational training, empowering students to grow in independence and become contributing members of society.

Mission
Notre Dame School, recognizing that each person is created in the image of God, educates students with developmental disabilities and facilitates their integration into society.
Needs
Notre Dame School educates 142 students with developmental disabilities in small classrooms with 10 students and 2 teachers. Our posted tuition is half of what it actually costs to educate students with individual education plans. In addition we offer financial aid for those families who demonstrate the most need.
We must raise over $2 million to support our operating budget. Our biggest need is unrestricted funding to support our budget.
