Serving Hood, Somervell and Johnson counties, we believe that the traditional term of "widowed single moms" is not only limited to those women whose husbands have passed from this earth, but mothers who dutifully carry on the responsibility of parenting children alone. Whether this was from abandonment or divorce, the implications can be much the same. The term "orphan" has equally undergone a transformation as more and more fathers have abandoned their role. We seek to serve those affected by these dynamics with the life changing message and provision of Jesus Christ: His Word, His People and His Resources.
