Love Acts is a nonprofit organization that battles homelessness and substance abuse through relationships and faith-based guidance to individuals experiencing homelessness. In addition, we assist fellow Christians and groups in outreach efforts.. Our goal with each relationship is life change through reliance and faith in Jesus Christ. We connect Christian life mentors with homeless individuals in weekly faith-based 12 step life recovery meetings which transition to one-on-one mentoring relationships. Our method of coaching recovery and transformation is to guide others towards a reconciliation with God, then self, family and community. We offer guidance to individuals experiencing homelessness towards resources for critical documentation, government filings, job readiness, employment, housing and transportation assistance. We carry out outreach in the form of provision of living necessities and resource guidance to unsheltered persons living in encampments and on the street. We offer financial assistance for family reunification.
