Lip Gloss for Love was founded in 2015 to address the critical gap in teen dating violence education within South Dallas schools and communities. In many cases, dating violence among teens and young adults was being normalized or overlooked, despite its profound and lasting impact on individuals and families. Recognizing this, we set out to challenge harmful narratives and shift cultural, family, and community perceptions.
Our mission goal is to educate, raise awareness, and implement prevention strategies that empower young people to build healthy relationships. We also provide compassionate aftercare and support for survivors of domestic and intimate partner violence, knowing that both direct and indirect trauma can shape lives in countless ways.
Since 2015, Lip Gloss for Love has reached and empowered over 50,000 individuals—children, teens, young adults, and adults of all genders—through transformative education, experiential learning, and therapeutic support. This support has been transparent through participative, transitional, and servant leadership.
We prioritize the quality and meaningful impact in every program, partnership, and service we provide. Our commitment to excellence drives the educational experiences we deliver and the lives we help shape.
Lip Gloss for Love’s Teens Against Dating Violence Education Program offers year-round outreach and prevention services designed to empower young people and break cycles of abuse.
Our program serves children and teens ages 10 to 18 across South Dallas, Fair Park, and surrounding metroplex communities—reaching youth of all backgrounds, genders, and income levels. We focus on proactive education and hands-on learning to reduce the risk of domestic and intimate partner violence.
By equipping participants with knowledge, skills, and confidence, we aim to prevent future victimization and change the narrative for generations to come.
