Carol's Cottage is an extension of Lip Gloss for Love founded in 2022 to address the critical gap in housing for pregnant women ages 18-24 who have been impacted by domestic and /or intimate partner violence. Our goal is to empower women through a healthy pregnancy and parenting journey that includes positive education, support, and advocacy.
Our purpose is to ensure Carol's Cottage provides temporary, safe, and comfortable housing for pregnant mothers or mothers with one infant up to six months.
Carol's Cottage services women across North Texas who have been impacted by trauma while parenting. Carol's Cottage cultivates a home that provides transitional services for women in an environment that promotes self-efficacy, positive parenting, healthy pregnancies, and builds systems that support safe and healthy transitions. By equipping participants with knowledge, skills, and confidence, our aim is to prevent future victimization and change the narrative for generations to come.
Our mission is to offer a safe, healthy, and supportive temporary homestyle living environment for expecting mothers and mothers with an infant up to six months who choose parenting or adoption that have been impacted by domestic or intimate partner violence.

While honoring each mother’s voice, autonomy, and lived experience, we aim to ensure she is an active partner in shaping her healing, growth, and future.
Advocating for systemic change that promotes safety, reproductive justice, and equitable pathways to stability for all families.
