LinkED/TLCNT provides comprehensive diagnostic neuroeducational assessments for struggling learners of all ages whose learning differences or disabilities interfere with school, work, or life in general. Each in-depth assessment examines the individual's cognitive processes and achievement, visual-motor, executive function (self-awareness and control), and attention skills to identify the unique profile of strengths and weaknesses that impact a person's learning. Results can be useful in determining whether a person has learning differences or disabilities, ADHD, autism, speech/language difficulties, or developmental delays. This information is essential for identifying strategies and instructional interventions to empower the individual toward optimal performance.
Our Needs
LinkED's assessment is time-intensive and comprehensive and is not covered by insurance. A sliding scale fund, maintained by donations and grants, is provided to qualified families or individuals who otherwise could not afford the diagnostic testing and recommendations for needed services. There is an ongoing demand for sliding scale support so that more economically disadvantaged families can benefit from assessment. Last year 73 families received sliding scale support for evaluation services.
