In addition to delivering high quality live classical music performances to communities in North Texas, the symphony organization has programs targeting children and students from pre-school to graduate school to encourage interest and participation in musical activities. These include concerts, educational programs, competitions and internship programs.
Financial support to enhance content of musical programs and increase programming for children and youth in the community. This year we are introducing two new programs. Our Diversity and Opportunity initiative will provide free tickets to underserved students and their families to attend our symphony concert. Our Scout Merit Badge initiative will provide activities to enable scouts to earn their Music Appreciate Badges.
