Who we are: women leaders in food, beverage & hospitality
What we do: support women through scholarships & mentorship
Who we serve: anyone in need in Dallas-Fort Worth
Our first endowment of $5,000.00 was to the culinary program at El Centro, one of the Dallas County Community Colleges. With money raised from fundraising events, the Dallas Chapter of LDEI now has $415,000.00 in permanent endowments, supports a fine beverage library at El Centro, and annually awards money to diverse projects that support the goals of our organization.
Les Dames d'Escoffier International is a 501c3 non profit, worldwide philanthropic society of professional women leaders in the fields of food, fine beverage and hospitality across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Mexico. The Dallas Chapter, started in 1984, raises funds through charitable events for grants, scholarships and endowments to help with the education of women in the fields of culinary and hospitality.
The Dallas chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier is an organization of women leaders who create a supportive culture in our communities to achieve excellence in the food, fine beverage, and hospitality fields. We are committed to welcoming women of all races, languages, ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, physical abilities, and sexual orientations into our chapter, while also cultivating an environment of inclusivity and a culture of belonging through our programs, awards, initiatives, and partnerships.
