Las Chicas del Barrio is a nonprofit organization based in Dallas, TX. Our mission is to inspire and equip the next generation of Latinas by providing 1:1 mentorship, monthly workshops based around higher education, financial literacy, mental health awareness, community outreach, and by collaborating with local clinicians to provide 2 free therapy sessions a month.
To inspire and equip young Latinas to pursue a path of growth and purpose; to strive towards higher education; to become financially literate; and to improve physical, mental, and emotional health.
Las Chicas is currently in need of funds to cover workshop expenses (food, supplies and materials), therapy costs, and welcome packages of our students which will have school supplies and gift cards.
We are also in need of funds to provide scholarships for our graduating students.
