The Children’s Advocacy Center for Kaufman County provides a safe, child-friendly environment where law enforcement, Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS), prosecution, medical and mental health professionals may share information and develop effective, coordinated strategies sensitive to the needs of each unique case and child. Last year, we provided over 4000 services to our community. All of our services are aimed at reducing trauma so that children and families may begin the healing process. Whether a family comes to the center once for their initial investigation of abuse, or every week for two years of mental health therapy, cost will never get in the way of the healing services they need. Thanks to generous organizations and individuals like you, all of our services are free of charge to every family, every time.

The Children's Advocacy Center for Kaufman County provides justice and healing for children and families impacted by abuse through its support of a collaborative, child-centered response.
Our greatest immediate need is direct service volunteers! This can be as flexible or structured as you like. Are you willing to give a couple hours of your time to sit with children and families to provide comfort during a very stressful time? The reward is priceless!
Other daily items needed: water bottles, gift cards for families in need, volunteers who like to organize, volunteer to help with events, or individually wrapped snacks. Or simply share and like our posts on social media, donate new items to the Resource Room and support our special projects.
Operational funds are also essential to continue providing safety, healing and justice for the children and families we serve every year.
