For over 100 years, the Junior League of Dallas (JLD) has provided trained volunteers and financial support to nonprofit organizations throughout the City of Dallas and Dallas County areas. Founded with 40 members in 1922, JLD has grown exponentially and so has our impact. Today, JLD’s 4,000 members represent a diverse set of perspectives, professional backgrounds, and experiences.
We partner with nonprofits across the city of Dallas to address critical, unmet needs of our community. We provide funding combined with trained volunteers to each agency that provides budget relief and allows for expansion of programs. In 2025 – 2026, we will continue to provide over 100,000 hours of uncompensated volunteer hours to the community and hope to to give over $1 million of funding to the Dallas community.
Through our commitment to training women leaders, our members have founded, led, and supported some of the most impactful institutions in our city, so for just about any Dallas institution that you can name, a JLD member was likely an integral part of making it what it is today. That’s what JLD does: we train leaders that deeply shape our community.
Your support on North Texas Giving Day is essential for us - JLD can only do its work with supporters like you.
