This North Texas Giving Day, we’re celebrating a decade of devotion, determination, and love. Since saving our very first pup in 2015, I Am Dog Rescue has grown into a passionate, people-powered nonprofit - small in size but mighty in heart.

For 10 years, we’ve rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed dogs who needed a voice, a chance, and a family. Every tail wag, every adoption, every life saved has been possible because of YOU - our volunteers, fosters, donors, and supporters.

I Am Dog Rescue is a foster-based, all-volunteer organization. We don’t operate a facility; instead, we rely on our incredible network of foster families to provide safe, loving homes while dogs heal and prepare for adoption. That means your support goes directly to the dogs - not overhead.

Here’s how your donation helps:

• 🏥 Medical Care: Emergency treatment, routine vet visits, vaccinations, spay/neuter services, and monthly preventatives for heartworm, fleas, and ticks
• 🧸 Daily Essentials: Crates, toys, blankets, leashes, collars, nutritious food, and medications
• 🐕 Specialized Support: Boarding, behavioral training, grooming, supplements, and supplies for dogs with extra needs
• 📦 Operational Costs: Storage for foster supplies and event materials, plus nonprofit software to manage donations and keep our records transparent and accountable

We’re currently seeking monthly sponsors to help cover heartworm and flea/tick prevention for each of our dogs. These ongoing gifts are a lifeline for our pups and help us plan ahead with confidence.
