We are raising funds for our programs: Back to School mission provides backpacks and school supplies for underprivileged students. For the 2023-2024 school year 568 students received supplies, We hope to help every student in need of assistance in Hunt County get school supplies.
We are also raising funds for our Reading Roundup. At DC Cannon Elementary in Quinlan, 80% of the students are considered economically disadvantaged by the Texas Education Agency. Hunt County Kids purchases new books. Each of the 770 students choose a book. A Volunteer will read to them for a few minutes and the student gets to keep the book. We are planning two Reading Roundups this school year.
Our Emergency Response Program assists families in need with utility bills, temporary housing, clothing, car seats, diapers, coats, shoes, blankets and the list goes on...
We are a 100% volunteer organization.
Help meet the needs of underprivileged children in Hunt County.
