Our Community
Since 2002, Hope Clinic has been a cornerstone of our community, providing free medical, and preventative health care to uninsured adults. Hope Clinic addresses whole-person health care needs within the context of family, faith, and community. We have grown significantly from a humble one-room clinic in a borrowed space to our current clinic staffed by dedicated healthcare professionals and supported by dozens of volunteers. To date, Hope Clinic has provided care to over 55,000 patients.
Hope Clinic remains the only nonprofit offering completely free medical and preventative care for the uninsured members of our Garland-area community. Without facilities such as ours, this uninsured and underserved population would lack access to medical care and preventive services, which may cause delays in disease diagnosis, poor health outcomes, and higher health care costs.
Our Unique Approach
Hope Clinic's unique healthcare model includes primary, urgent, chronic, behavioral, and spiritual care as well as case management. We serve our community five days per week, with access to on-call physicians 24/7. Our clinic is conveniently located near public transportation, and is easily accessible to the most under-resourced communities in Garland and surrounding areas. Physicians and support staff provide services in Spanish and English. Hope Clinic ranks among the top 5% of clinics for ease of scheduling and customer service, as measured by the national Press Ganey scale.
